The Light Within All Things reflects the quiet presence of a universal energy that flows through nature, through the earth, and through every living soul. The circular forms suggest moments of light appearing in different expressions, each unique yet connected to the same source. This painting is a meditation on the understanding that beneath all forms, the same light exists within us all.
This painting grew from my fascination with light and the way it moves through the natural world. I often notice sunlight filtering through trees or the unexpected orbs, reflections and abstractions that appear when nature is photographed. I am interested in these fleeting moments when light seems to reveal another layer of what is around us. In this piece, I explored that energy through overlapping circles, movement, transparency and color.
